New homes in Winchester approved
THE go-ahead has been given for badly-needed new homes on open space in Winchester.
The city council has given permission for A2 Dominion to construct 18 affordable dwellings off Erskine Road, West Hill. Nine will have two bedrooms and nine will have three.
The plans are non-controversial and permission was granted by council officers using delegated powers.
The scheme also has improved parking, landscaping and enhancements of the existing open space to include a play area.
