TV chef and food campaigner Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall was due to be the main attraction at a tourism conference in Winchester today.
He was speaking at the event in Winchester Guildhall organised by the city council, being publicly interviewed by Cllr Rob Humby, deputy council leader.
Mr Fearnley-Whittingstall’s company River Cottage recently won planning permission to convert Abbey Mill in Colebrook Street into a restaurant and cafe despite opposition from local people.
