AN Otterbourne-based foster agency is ‘outstanding’ according to its latest Ofsted report.

Fostering Solutions southern branch, received a glowing report with top marks in all five categories including quality of service, safeguarding children and leadership.

Miquette Novella, regional service manager at the branch in Poles Lane, said: “Our service was inspected under Ofsted’s new inspection framework which was introduced in 2012. The new framework has very specific grade descriptions with great emphasis on outcomes for children and young people, so we are all delighted to have achieved this fantastic rating.”

She added: “We value our foster carers, their work, their dedication and their commitment. The Ofsted inspector gave verbal feedback following the inspection and said he was particularly impressed by our placement stability, the outcomes for children and young people in all aspects of their lives and also our ability to monitor, improve and continually develop our services.”

The service also has offices in Worthing and Banbury.
