THIS impressive group of six and seven-year-olds wrote their own pantomime - oh yes they did!
Year 1 and 2 children at Stanmore Primary School studied pantomimes after seeing Aladdin at Winchester Theatre Royal before Christmas and were inspired to put on their own version of Cinderella.
They spent last week performing 15-minute shows to parents and staff said they were very well received.
Ali Richardson, library manager at the school, said: “The children have written the scripts, designed the scenery, collected suitable props and borrowed costumes form a local theatre group.
“Parents were very impressed by both the children's performing skills and their ingenuity in script writing and set design.”
