The University of Winchester has appointed a new deputy vice-chancellor.
Prof Neil Marriott has taken over from Tommy Geddes, who retired from the position at the end of January.
Vice-chancellor Joy Carter said: “Professor Marriott brings a wealth of experience with him for his new role as deputy vice-chancellor.
“We’re very much looking forward to embracing his ideas and working with him to continue to make the University an even better place to work and study.”
Professor Marriott has nearly three decades experience of teaching, research and management in UK Business Schools and universities and is currently the pro vice-chancellor (Business Development) and dean of the Faculty of Business, Law and Sport at Winchester.
His research covers accounting education, NHS financial management and small business financial management.
