A RATHER special, off-the-agenda item was addressed at the most recent Bishop's Waltham Parish Council meeting.
Councillor Diana Underwood was presented with a bouquet of flowers to mark her 90th birthday.
In typically modest fashion she chose not to make a speech, though Cllr Rona Pickering asked committee members to consider whether Cllr Underwood might get the bumps.
Mrs Underwood turned 90 on December 18 and, having lived all her life in Bishop's Waltham, has been on the parish council for 33 years.
Parish Clerk Lindsay Edge said: βIt is impressive and she has been on the parish for many years. She also served as a governor at Bishop's Waltham Infant School for a very long time.β
