CIVIC bosses say disruption caused to Winchester District refuse services should be resolved shortly – weather permitting.
Collections were missed last Friday (January 19), but a spokesman for the city council said the impact was “comparatively minimal”, and that all collection issues will be resolved by the end of this week, providing there are no more heavy snowfalls.
Priorities have been established, with collection of general waste the top priority, and green waste collected last.
Residents are advised to continue to leave any un-emptied bins outside their properties so they are ready for collection as soon as a vehicle can gain access.
