Several homes lose water supply in Winchester
SEVERAL Winchester homes were without water this afternoon (Jan 8).
Around 35 homes in Kings Worthy had no supply or low pressure for an hour-and-a-half.
The problem began just after 3pm due to a faulty connection in Springvale Road, Kings Worthy.
A Southern Water spokesman said: “A problem with a connection on a water main in Springvale Road, Kings Worthy, caused an interruption to water supplies for about an hour and a half this afternoon.
“The connection was quickly replaced and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
