WINCHESTER hosted a Dwarf tennis camp to encourage more people to play the games.

The Tennis Foundation and Dwarf Sport Association UK have joined forces to organise the event at Winchester Tennis and Squash Club on Saturday.

Inclusive Sports Adviser for the Dwarf Sport Association UK, Nigel Burton, is eager to make it a regular occurrence.

Tennis Foundation's disability development manager, Dan Absolon, added: “The best thing about this summer's Paralympic Games was that it inspired so many people to give sport a try.

“Tennis can be played by anyone because it is so easily adapted. And whatever version of tennis you're trying, you still get all the health and social benefits playing it can bring.”
