A WINCHESTER theatre company is taking on another classic English playwright’s work next month.
Blue Apple Theatre, which works with actors with learning disabilities, presents an adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s The Happy Prince at The Tower at Kings’ School from Thursday, December 6 to Saturday December 8 at 7.30pm.
It follows a tour of Shakespeare’s Hamlet earlier this year.
Artistic director Peter Clerke said: “This is a new, snappy, adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic and moving tale, told through drama, dance, percussion, music and animation.”
Tickets cost £7.50 for adults, £5 for concessions and are available from the Theatre Royal box office on 01962 840440.
