I am researching the family of my great great grandfather James Bishop, who was born in or around Lymington and who worked as a printer or compositor in the 1800s.
James Bishop married Mary Humphrey, a dressmaker who was born in Southwark and they moved to Southwark where they had at least five children, whose names were, Mary, Martha, James, Charles William (my great Grandfather) and George.
I know nothing about the ancestors of James Bishop and I would dearly love to know if there are any relatives of his living in the Hampshire area, as well as greatly appreciate any information that readers might have regarding this family.
