Glamour model Alicia Douvall has said she took plastic surgery “too far” and does not want her daughters to do the same.

The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate and self-confessed cosmetic surgery addict has admitted to spending an estimated £1 million on hundreds of cosmetic procedures and treatments over the past two decades.

Alicia talked about her cosmetic surgery regrets while promoting her autobiography Don’t Call Me Ugly during Thursday’s edition of This Morning.

She said on the ITV show: “I’ve turned my back on surgery. I’m all about highlighting what can go wrong. I took it too far. I came across too many bad plastic surgeons.”

Underscoring her new attitude to cosmetic procedures, the reality TV star presented a more natural look on This Morning.

However, she once said she would allow her daughter Georgia to have surgery if she wanted it.

Alicia told hosts Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford she has since changed her views.

She said: “First of all, I was in a bad place. I was still addicted to surgery when I said that. The person I am now I would never, ever want any young girl to have plastic surgery, let alone my own daughter.”

The mum-of-two, who also has a daughter named Papaya, continued: “When she (Georgia) was younger, she thought it was normal because Mum was doing that. But now she’s got older she’s realised it didn’t make me happy.”

In 2008, Alicia revealed that she would be happy for Georgia to have a boob job when she turned 16.

Two years later, the pair featured in BBC Three programme Glamour Models, Mum and Me. Georgia, who was then aged 14, talked of studying and university – but Alicia wanted her to be a glamour model.

Alicia, who has also appeared on Celebrity Love Island, has admitted to breast and butt implants, a nose job and lip fillers – to name a few.

Alongside her countless cosmetic operations, Alicia’s love life with a number of celebrities has kept her in the headlines.
