This series of The Jump has seen its fair share of injuries already. The first contestant to pull out was swimmer Rebecca Adlington with a dislocated shoulder, closely followed by actress Tina Hobley who dislocated her elbow.

Then gymnast Beth Tweddle – who was supposed to compete in the snow cross on tonight’s show – injured herself in training and is now in hospital awaiting back surgery.

Host Davina McCall announced Beth’s absence on the live show and Twitter couldn’t quite believe that yet another person was seriously injured.

During the show itself, both EastEnders’ Sid Owen and Made in Chelsea’s Mark Vandelli also hurt themselves – so much so that they couldn’t perform in the final air jump challenge.

It made a lot of viewers think that this should be the last series since it just seems so bloomin’ dangerous.

There are quite a lot of sceptics of the show now for this very reason.

But some admitted they were still fans – even if it does come with some major risks.

Hopefully they’re the last to be injured, but the way things are going…
