Chloe Moretz is set to replace Dakota Fanning in indie movie Brain on Fire.
Charlize Theron is producing the film adaptation of Susannah Cahalan’s bestselling memoir, which chronicles a young woman’s sudden descent into madness following a mystery illness.
Dakota was forced to pull out of the starring role due to scheduling issues, an insider told The Wrap.com.
Chloe will now join male leads Me and Earl and the Dying Girl’s Thomas Mann and We’re The Millers star Will Poulter.
The Kick-Ass star recently worked with and Charlize on the thriller Dark Places.
Irish director Gerard Barrett will helm the movie.
