Pharrell Williams and his famous hat are heading to Springfield, to join The Simpsons as a guest star.
The Happy star will make a cameo as himself during the February 8 episode, reported Entertainment Weekly.
In the Walking Big And Tall episode, the 41-year-old will offer to write the town a jingle, after his character finds out that the original musician they hired had sold them a recycled song.
“Pharrell offers to write a new anthem for the town,” said Simpsons executive producer Al Jean.
The show’s creator Matt Groening has already given Pharrell a Simpsons make-over, complete with his brown Vivienne Westwood hat.
Other guest stars for the 26th season have included Kelsey Grammer, his former Frasier co-star David Hyde Pierce, Willem Dafoe, Sammy Hagar, Nick Offerman, Sarah Silverman, the cast of Futurama and Will Forte.
Pharrell is the latest music star to appear on the show, following the likes of Green Day, Sigur Ros, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.
