First day back after four days away and not quite as tough as I expected.
I wasn’t sure if it would be a bit of a killer going back after a bit of a break, but I generally managed all right.
It was quite busy so I had to mix up my routine a bit – Monday night must be popular with those who think they need to burn off the weekend’s excesses.
The hardest bit on this particular occasion was the weights; they really did burn towards the end.
Anyway, the friend I visited at the weekend was fairly impressed with the increase in muscles, so I will aim for at least four sessions this week and hopefully one at the weekend.
It's nice to know that my efforts are being appreciated!
