X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer has shared a few more details from the upcoming film.

The filmmaker gave a live feed on Periscope, where he revealed a steel mill set that will feature early on in the third movie with Michael Fassbender’s character, Erik Lehnsherr/Magneto.

“Yeah, I meant manhole covers, not hubcaps. It was live! I was nervous /: #XMEN #XMenApocalypse,” he wrote alongside the picture on Instagram.

Bryan has also announced a special Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD edition of X-Men: Days Of Future Past will include 17 minutes of previously-cut footage, including a storyline involving Anna Paquin’s alter-ego Rogue, when it is released in July.

The 49-year-old director, who is back to take the reins on the third instalment of the latest trilogy, has offered fans behind-the-scenes teasers from the forthcoming movie.

Here are the parents of Scott (Cyclops) and Alex (Havok) Summers “watching the end of the world as they know it”.

And here’s Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner as Jean Grey and Lana Condor as Jubilation Lee/Jubilee on the Montreal set.

“Fun second day with @sophie_789 @lanacondor #JeanGrey #Jubilee #XMEN #XMenApocalypse,” Bryan wrote.

X-Men: Apocalypse, which also stars James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult, is currently shooting in Montreal, with a scheduled release in May 2016.
