Ashleigh Butler has said she'd love to train Simon Cowell's pooches.

The 19-year-old, who won Britain's Got Talent with her dog Pudsey, is preparing for the opening of the big screen flick Pudsey The Dog: The Movie.

But when it comes to training other people's dogs, top of her list are Simon Cowell's Yorkshire Terriers Squiddly and Diddly.

"I'm waiting for Simon's invite to train his two dogs but I still haven't got it," she said.

"Apparently his dog did a wee on the red carpet a couple of months ago, so I think I'd start with the basics!"

She'd also love to work with the Queen's beloved corgis.

Ashleigh, who met the Queen at The Royal Variety Performance and performed for her as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations, said: "She recognised us from Britain's Got Talent and asked the trick to training a dog.

"I said, 'Lots of time, lots of patience and lots of treats, basically'. She didn't ask me if I wanted to come and help with her corgis but, oh well, next time!"

She said of her life changing since auditioning for Britain's Got Talent: "To think, three years ago, I was still at school sixth form and now my dog has got his own film, it's quite surreal... it's a little bit crazy."

Ashleigh said of the film, which features the voice of Britain's Got Talent judge David Walliams: "It wasn't just Pudsey getting used to the actors, it was the actors getting used to Pudsey. But they [the actors] listened to me and coped with Pudsey really well - and he coped with them!"
