He’s known for his cheeky demeanour and fun TV frolics.
But even Kate Garraway was shocked when Ben Shephard pulled her into a bath of ice cold water live during Friday’s Good Morning Britain.
The TV presenter was discussing his recent triathlon efforts – which saw him take part in a gruelling 210-mile challenge to raise money for the Children’s Heart Unit Fund (CHUF) – when he was filmed getting into a bath to soothe his aching muscles on the ITV programme.
Looking slightly pained at the chill of the water but still giggling away, Ben then proceeded to drag his co-star Kate in over the edge of the tub and in with him.
Wearing a floral frock and heels, Kate screamed as she fell in onto his lap, squirming and trying to get out of the shockingly cold water.
However, it was all in good fun and she couldn’t help but laugh at his naughty actions, which came months after he threatened to throw her into a bath of mud live on air.
Charitable Ben took part in the epic ultra-marathon with Ivan Hollingsworth, whose son was saved during a six-hour operation at just 16 months old.
Good Morning Britain donated a large sum of money to the Newcastle-based heart unit following Ben’s impressive efforts.
Unsurprisingly, fans of the show took to Twitter to laugh over Ben’s naughtiness, many of them finding it hilarious.
