Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez have swapped their usual sexy outfits for more girly gowns for the Los Angeles premiere of their new film, Home.

FourFiveSeconds singer Ri-Ri, who voices a young girl named Tip in the movie, wore a peach satin sleeveless dress, which she teamed with dark burgundy lipstick and a high bun.

Jennifer, the voice of mum Lucy, opted for a light blue tulle and lace cocktail dress with floral beading by Zuhair Murad, as she walked the purple carpet with her children, seven-year-old twins Max and Emme. Her ex Casper Smart also attended the screening.

J-Lo said: “I’m excited actually for my kids to see it. I’m going to see if they notice my voice. They know I did the song for the movie but they don’t know, I think, that I play the mum in the movie.”

The Big Bang Theory star Jim Parsons, who voices the lead character of alien Oh in the DreamWorks animation, joked that he should take the opportunity to invite Rihanna onto the hit US comedy.

“I think she would make an excellent fellow physicist,” he said. “Partly that’s because I want to make sure I get to work with her if she comes on the show, but also, because she’d make an incredibly hot physicist and it would just be nice. That would be a ratings boost.”

Jim said he was impressed with Rihanna’s listening skills.

“It’s hard to say anything surprised me because there were so many good qualities she had… But I will say of all the things about her, including how good she smells, the thing that stuck out the most for me was what a good listener she was,” he said.

“I noticed it very early on when we were doing interviews together and she was a really good verbal sparring partner, just really quick.

“I knew she was intelligent so that didn’t shock me, but later on she would repeat things from conversations we had or interviews we had days before and I would be like, she is an incredible listener. I don’t know, she’s a smart woman.”

Home is in UK cinemas now.
