The X Factor singer Chloe Jasmine has revealed she is planning to get her revenge on Simon Cowell - by making his namesake run around in circles inside a cage.

The 23-year-old model from Surrey lost out in the sing-off against eight-piece boyband Stereo Kicks on the latest show, where the TV mogul told her that she lacked passion. It was a double elimination for her mentor Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who also said goodbye to Stephanie Nala.

"I respect him very much as a businessman. His brainchild of The X Factor is spectacular," Chloe Jasmine said.

"What I didn't agree with was, he had all of his acts secured and sat down on the panel to intimidate the other judges. That's just his humour."

She added: "I'm now about to purchase a hamster, call it Simon Cowell, and it's going to be running around a kennel."

It was second time unlucky for Chloe Jasmine, who previously entered the ITV show in 2006.

"It's been a wonderful experience. I didn't think I would get past my first audition so every next step was a blessing. I was always so shocked to get through," she said.

But she admitted she didn't see The X Factor as a "competition", but a "vocal showcase".

"We had so much fun. We didn't view it as a competition but as a vocal showcase, because everyone is so different," she continued.

"If you see it as, 'I wonder what Stereo Kicks is going to do this week. How can I compete against them?', what a horrible experience you are going to be having for three months. How awful. Why would anyone put themselves through that?"

Both Chloe Jasmine and Stephanie praised their mentor Cheryl, describing her as "inspiring" and "fabulous".

" Love her. (She's the) Gorgie Geordie," said Chloe. "We were always allowed into her dressing room any time to talk to her. It honestly felt she was a friend throughout the process, and she said to stay in touch. So watch this space..."

Stephanie added: "She was so proud (of us). She knew she took a risk with us but we're just so grateful, because most people would have brushed past us and didn't want to give us the chance. She knew we wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea but she still went with us.

"We were obviously devastated about leaving but very happy that we got that far. We're lucky to be here. We didn't let Cheryl down - she said we stayed true to ourselves."

Chloe, known for her smoky vocals and vintage style, revealed she was asked to modernise her outfits.

"We could have dyed our hair pink because we were asked to, and perhaps worn boots and sweatshirts but I just didn't want to," she added.

Stephanie, who got the boot after being in the bottom two in last week's episode, said she never expected to be on the receiving end of death threats because of her appearance on the show. She admitted she is now afraid to return to her Hertfordshire home.

"A lot of people don't understand that when you're on this show, you put yourself out there for people to judge you. People don't understand you have a life and a family, and there is a life after The X Factor, and when they bring you down, they're bringing you down personally," she said.

"I rose above it. They hate me, I don't hate them. But I feel uncomfortable to go home, it's only quite a small town."
