BACK by popular demand following their superb set last year, spend an enjoyable late afternoon and evening on board SS Shieldhall tomorrow between 4pm and 8pm, with the sounds of the tribute band RU40.

Playing all the classic hits from Red Red Wine, Rat In The Kitchen, Food For Thought, One In Ten and beyond!

RU40 have headlined in major venues and festivals across the South, entertaining reggae fans and ensuring they sing along to Cherry Oh Baby, Homely Girl, Here I am Baby, Kingston Town and many more UB40 hits.

During the trip, witness the departure of the cruise ships Azura, Oriana and Sapphire Princess – always the cue to sound the whistle and play the Shieldhall Organ.

A great photo opportunity, not to be missed as the three cruise ships line up down Southampton Water!

As part of your cruise, see the impressive engine room with its original steam engines at work and the bridge, with its traditional instruments and gleaming brass work, admire the ship’s steam assisted steering gear (similar to that used on Titanic), talk to the Captain and volunteer crew, pass close to the great ocean liners and container ships, walk the teak decks and relax in the saloon with a wide range of refreshments.

Children can have fun with the interactive Shieldhall Log Book, collecting stickers from various stations on board!

Have you ever wanted to toot the Shieldhall whistle as we sail past the departing cruise ships?

This excursion has the opportunity for you to do this for a donation of £5 to help Shieldhall continue steaming. Please speak to purser as you board the ship on the day to show your interest, only available to a small number of passengers and done on a first come, first serve basis. Tooting of the whistle will be at the discretion of the master on the day.
