INSPIRED by Nature art show is back at Hillier Gardens until June 11.

Bringing their own unique blend of stunning art work, the trio comprising of Daphne Ellman, Ali Lindley and Carolyne Viney are delighted to be back at Hilliers for their eagerly awaited annual art show, Inspired by Nature.

The highlight of their calendar, Hilliers provides all three artists with the opportunity to exhibit and sell their original work and to demonstrate daily whilst in the space, engaging all ages of visitor with their expertise covering acrylic, watercolour and mixed media work from pure representational to total abstract.

Ali, this year, brings nature’s beauty to life in expressive original watercolours.

Daphne has produced a stunning new set of 12 images taking you on a journey through the year by calendar month.

Carolyne completes the trio with work majoring on use of texture and how light reacts to a surface, whether paper, canvas or aluminium.

What is so unique about the work is the breadth of versatility with both palette, techniques and choice of subject.

“We have endeavoured to provide a full range of art genres enabling the visitor to our space to be surrounded by difference,” says Carolyne. “Creating art is our passion. In my work, the landscapes, seascapes and florals are inspired directly from my travels, whether Cornwall or more recently New York.

“Ali has previously lived in Africa Botswana, and her ability to bring her experiences abroad to each painting, give them individually a fresh feel.

“Daphne, from an early age, had a fascination with the wildlife of the British Isles. Her trips around Britain, provide her with a wealth of knowledge. She eloquently transforms that knowledge into beautifully detailed compositions reflecting her love for all things nature.”
