Round off the Easter holidays with the Easter Bunny Hop on Saturday at Turner Sims.

The ABC Bunny Band will get you into the Easter spirit with a concert of exciting folk music, full of dancing, singing, jiggling and lots of fun!

Clap along to some of the best tunes from the British Isles and beyond, join in with the massed Morris Dance, and be taken to new places with live music and interactive storytelling. Audiences can put on their bunny ears and be treated to an eggs-traordinary, action-packed concert!

This weekend is the last chance to catch the Easter Trail at Lepe Country Park.

The children’s walk will see youngsters walk around the park to try and solve the Easter clues to win a prize.

Pick up a trail card from the park office anytime on each day between 10am - 3pm and return with the correct answers to claim your prize. The trail runs until Sunday, car parking charges apply and sessions cost £2 per child.

Pop along to Board in the City for a day filled with games galore before joining Jodie to make a rain stick – a long, hollow tube partially filled with small pebbles or beans that has small pins or thorns arranged helically on its inside surface.

When the stick is upended, the pebbles fall to the other end of the tube, making a sound reminiscent of rain falling.

Join YMCA Fairthorne Manor for selection of taster sessions this weekend.

On Saturday there is the opportunity to try kayaking, stand up paddle boarding and canoeing on the lake.

8 In Fareham...

This weekend, Royal Armouries will be hosting Poppies:Wave at Fort Nelson.

Wave is a sweeping arch of bright red poppy heads suspended on towering stalks.

This sculpture, and Weeping Window, by artist Paul Cummins and designer Tom Piper, were initially conceived as the key dramatic sculptural elements in the installation Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red at the Tower of London in the summer and autumn of 2014.

Over the course of their time at the Tower, the two sculptures were gradually surrounded by a vast field of ceramic poppies, each one planted by a volunteer in memory of every British or Colonial life lost at the Front during the First World War.

The installation at Fort Nelson will be open to the public from today until Sunday June 24. Admission is free.

Friends of Southampton Old Cemetary is holding one of their regular open days at The Hawthorns Urban Wildlife Centre tomorrow on Southampton Common.

Situated in the south east corner of Southampton Common, The Hawthorns Urban Wildlife Centre provides information about Southampton’s abundant wildlife and how the city’s open spaces are managed to protect and increase biodiversity.

The Hawthorns garden is a sensitive wildlife environment and therefore is only open when staff are on site.

10 In Maybush...

Let the kids bounce off their excess energy today with Inflatazone – an indoor inflatable and soft play centre – at Testlands Hub.

Inflatazone is a new indoor inflatable play centre that is based in Green Lane, Southampton, and is open during selected dates during each school holiday.

Each Inflatazone event will feature a selection of inflatables that could include bouncy castles, soft play, inflatable slides, disco domes, gladiator jousting, bouncy castles with slides, ball pits and sumo wrestling.

Sessions run between 10am and 3.45pm and tickets are available on the door, although booking is highly recommended.
