IT’S going from one success to another for a Southampton garage group.

FooR are set to release their second album titled Friends Of FooR tomorrow.

The 18-track release will feature their three forthcoming singles, Premonition, which features Eddie Craig, from garage legends, The Wideboys; Hooligans (feat Evil B vs B Live); and Rum Woman (feat. Bar Li).

The album, which is already one of the top three best selling pre-orders in the UK, will also feature an array of UK vocal and production talent mixtapes from other garage and house stars including Jaguar Skills, Majestic and Bassboy.

Hailing from Southampton, the group – Gavin Foord, Aki, MC Jukie and Tyrone – have all been friends for 15 years since they were kids.

They started making music together once they hit their teens and then threw parties, first locally, and then across the south coast.

Gavin said: “We’re blown away by the response to the Friends Of Foor album.

“Never in our wildest dreams did we think we’d be in the Top 3 best selling pre-orders in the UK.

“We’re just a group of friends that have always messed around with music in some shape or form, so how our career has gone is all a bit crazy to us.”

The group will also grace the main stage at Common People on Sunday, May 27.

Gavin added: “Common People is going to be really special.

“We get to play across the world, which is great, but this is the main stage at the common in our hometown.”

“We’ll be playing a lot of the new tracks from next week’s Friends of FooR album and might even bring a few very special surprise guests.”
