ALL the way from the deep dark wood comes The Gruffalo's Child, the young upstart with attitude who arrives in Southampton in time for half term.
Live on stage at Nuffield Southampton Theatres (NST), enjoy a magical, musical adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.
Featuring songs, laughs and plenty of scary fun for children aged 3 and up, families can enjoy this playful production by award-winning theatre company Tall Stories, the team behind previous hits The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and The Snail and the Whale at NST Campus from Monday to Saturday.
One wild and windy night the Gruffalo’s child ignores her father’s warning that no Gruffalo should ever set foot in the deep dark wood and tiptoes out into the snow. After all, the Big Bad Mouse doesn’t really exist… or does he?
The Gruffalo’s Child follows on from Tall Stories’ West End hit The Gruffalo. Tall Stories has been bringing great stories to life for audiences of all ages through its unique and exciting brand of physical storytelling, original music and humour for more than a decade.
This version of The Gruffalo's Child will be in London's West End for Christmas 2017.
Tickets for the Nuffield run are available from 023 8067 1771 or online at nstheatres.co.uk
