TWO talented Hampshire performers are to get Southampton rocking to the sounds of the 60s as they make a triumphant homecoming in Mod musical All or Nothing.

Daisy Darvill, from Chandlers Ford, and former Fareham resident Stefan Edwards are to star in the show, which makes its way to Mayflower Theatre on October 27 and 28.

Daisy describes performing in her hometown theatre as one for the bucket list! Following a childhood spent dancing with In Time Dance, Sally Johnson’s Academy of Dance and Southampton Arts, she has played Ali in Mamma Mia for Royal Caribbean Productions, filmed an Agatha Christie drama for the BBC and worked with Tim Vine, Matthew Kelly and Arlene Phillips in pantomime.

Stefan’s love of performing is in the genes - his Mum was a professional dancer and his Dad a professional acrobat. He learned his craft at his Mum’s dance school Kim Ellen School of Dance as well as with local am dram groups Fareham Musical Society, STP Musicals and CCADS.

The Mods stuck two fingers up at the class-ridden society and its dull redundant culture. They were working-class free spirits who rode sexy streamlined Italian Vespas or Lambrettas. This quintessentially British musical celebrates The Small Faces with hits like Whatcha Gonna Do About It, Lazy Sunday and Tin Soldier.
