SOME of the best national and international companies and artists touring today are named on The Point’s new autumn season of work.

Kicking off the programme, on September 23, is Finding Joy, a moving and joyous exploration of one family’s experience of Dementia, told by the UK’s leading full mask theatre company.

Education, Education, Education, on October 18, is a love letter to the 1990’s, exploring what we learn during our schooldays.

The Point plays hosts to several exciting contemporary dance companies this season welcoming Avante Garde Dance and The Place with the highly antipcated Fagin’s Twist and All Dance with The Owl & The Pussycat in October.

Border Tales, on November 2, is a thought-provoking story of the multicultural Britain we live in via dance, live music and dialogue.

The Eastleigh venue welcomes a host of brilliant comedians this season including The Noise Next Door with Uproar, audience favourite Mark Thomas with A Show That Gambles on the Future and Omid Djalili with Schmuck For a Night. Jason Manford will also grace the venue with an unmissable stand-up performance to a sold-out auditorium.

The Point’s Christmas programme will see two festive Point Youth Theatre productions, beginning with a charismatic re-telling of The Gingerbread Man, running November 30 to December 2, followed by an enchanting production of The Sleeping Beauty, December 19 to 24.
