WEt Wet Wet’s Graeme Clark is heading to Havant for an intimate evening celebrating 30 years of success

2017 marks the 30th anniversary of legendary band Wet Wet Wet’s first ever album release, and to coincide with that, one of the Wet’s chief songwriters and bassist, Graeme Clark, is going on the road again.

Graeme is heading to The Spring Arts & Heritage Centre for an upfront and personal show, driven by music with stories and anecdotes about life in the band, and how Graeme came about writing some of the biggest hits of the 80’s and 90’s as he takes you on a journey through time and pop history.

No stranger to big stages, the melody man and songsmith has not only been touring with Wet Wet Wet for 30 years, but has also released two solo albums and three EP's throughout his solo career. Graeme lives for his music, and is embracing the journey it has taken him on:

“You always like to be in control of your own destiny and sometimes you can achieve that. When fame and fortune knocked the door down it brought some unpredictable side-effects, some good and some not so good. But, these days, I’m happy to be writing, and playing live when I can, and with people that are like minded".

Wet Wet Wet are one of the UK’s biggest bands, with nine Top Ten albums, four of which went to the No.1 spot. The band have recently returned to the limelight with three performances at Edinburgh Castle to celebrate 30 years, followed shortly after by the news that singer Marti Pellow is leaving the band to focus on his solo career as a singer and actor.

Join Graeme at The Spring for an intimate evening with a personal documented history accompanied by stripped back acoustic performances of the classics as well as original, new material.
