POP-Up Opera return to the grounds of Cheriton Old Rectory this summer with a rarely-seen opera from the late 18th Century, Cimarosa’s Il Matrimonio Segreto (The Secret Marriage).
Challenging the way opera is traditionally performed, they take their productions into unusual spaces.
Il Matrimonio Segreto tells the tale of a rich Italian businessman as he attempts to marry off one of his daughters to a mad English toff with disastrous results.
See it on Saturday June 24. Visit popupopera.co.uk for details.
