AFTER selling out the first screening of André Rieu: Christmas with André last month Christchurch Regent Centre has announced two further Encore screenings of this “must-see” annual Christmas Concert. It will be on the centre's big screen this Sunday (December 4) at 7pm and Saturday December 9 at 2pm.
Andre Rieu: Christmas with Andre is an exclusive festive celebration from Andre’s hometown of Maastricht in the Netherlands, featuring a never before seen 90 minute recorded Christmas concert, packed with all those festive favourites such as Hallelujah, Jingle Bells and White Christmas, performed by André and his famous Johann Strauss Orchestra along with his sopranos and tenors.
As an exclusive for cinema audiences, André will be inviting his fans to his hometown for a live intimate tour of Maastricht's magical Christmas highlights, as well as participating in a Q&A with CinemaLive host Charlotte Hawkins, where ‘The King of Waltz’ will answer questions submitted by cinema audiences, including a special question from the Regent Centre Manager, Felicity Porter, who was invited by Andre’s management to submit her own question for the concert. Felicity wanted to know who Andre would choose as his ideal dinner guest for Christmas Day?
