THE appropriately titled 'Saw Doctors' have been forced to reschedule their concert dates due to illness.

The band have issued a statement saying that unfortunately, due to the illness of singer Davy Carton, who underwent a minor throat operation last week, The Saw Doctors will not be able to play their 15-date UK Tour which was due to start in Cardiff on Monday (28 November) and continue through until till the Glasgow concert on December 17.

The band have rescheduled 13 of the dates to April 2017 including the two sold-out London shows at Shepherd's Bush Empire. Their December 7 show at Salisbury City Hall has now been rescheduled for Tuesday 18 April.

"We regret that we will not be able to play for all our loyal and faithful UK fans this winter. Davy needs some more time to recuperate and rehab his badly-damaged vocal cords" said Leo Moran of The Saw Doctors.

"We are looking forward to getting back on the road next spring to play all the rescheduled shows.’’

Tickets purchased for all the UK shows will be valid for the respective rescheduled gigs in April and in early June 2017.

A full refund is available from the point of purchase if the 2017 rescheduled dates do not suit ticket holders.

All tickets purchased for the December show in Salisbury will be valid for the rescheduled date. You do not need to return them if you intend to attend the rescheduled show. Customers who are unable to make the rescheduled date should return their tickets within 28 days to the City Hall box office for a refund. Refunds can only be issued on receipt of your tickets. Tickets purchased from other ticketing outlets should be returned to the point of purchase.
