SHEFFIELD indie stars The Sherlocks have announced their biggest tour so far for 2017 and there are three big shows in the south.

The hardworking band of brothers, hailed as one of the most exciting new acts in Britain, astonished fans with news of their 35 dates next February and March which include debuts at Talking Heads in Southampton and Sub 89 in Reading plus a welcome return to Portsmouth’s Wedgewood Rooms where they drew a crowd of over 300 in September.

Fans expressed their delight on social media to see frontman Kiaran Crook, his brother and drummer Brandon, lead guitarist Josh Davidson and his brother and bassist Andy choose towns and cities often missed off the gig circuit as well as return to Southampton again.

This year they’ve supported The Libertines in Bournemouth, played to thousands at Reading & Leeds and sold out two nationwide tours including gigs at the legendary London Scala, Manchester Ritz, Sheffield Leadmill and The Joiners.

Latest single Will You Be There? has been a hit on Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music and even featured on Channel 4’s live coverage of the Formula 1 Belgium Grand Prix.

2017 is set to be the biggest year yet for The Sherlocks. See them as they are now at Talking Heads, Southampton on Wednesday February 22 and The Wedgewood Rooms, Portsmouth on Thursday February 23. More at thesherlocksmusic.co.uk
