"LISTEN very carefully, I will say this only once...!"

She is famed worldwide as the saucy waitress Yvette Carte-Blanche in the BBC sitcom 'Allo 'Allo.

Now Essex-born actress Vicki Michelle will return to the Kings Theatre Portsmouth to star as The Fairy Godmother in Jack and the Beanstalk this Christmas.

On television, she has starred alongside Ray Winstone in All In The Game, as well as appearing in the popular soaps Emmerdale and Doctors. She appeared in the 2014 series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, can be seen as a regular panellist on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and has recently made appearances on such shows as; The Wright Stuff, Pointless Celebrities, Keep It In The Family, Who’s Doing the Dishes? All Star Mr and Mrs and Celebrity Masterchef.

Vicki said: “Jack and the Beanstalk is a great family pantomime and of course I’m delighted to be playing opposite the fabulous Anne Hegerty, I’m really looking forward to some feisty on-stage battles as goodie and baddie, and of course also working with the very talented Sam Callahan who’s playing Jack. I’m sure it’s going to be a lot of fun.

I’m thrilled to be returning to The Kings Theatre, having recently appeared there in The Naked Truth. Not only is it one of the most beautiful Matcham theatres I’ve ever worked in but the staff are all so warm and friendly. It will be lovely to see them all again and get to know them over Christmas.”

Vicki made her West End stage debut in Play It Again Sam with Dudley Moore and has gone on to star in numerous leading stage roles including; Ruth in Ayckbourn’s Table Manners and Round and the Garden, Betty in Funny Money, Pamela Willey in Out of Order, Sarah Daniels in That’s Love and as Jacqueline in the box office, record breaking national tour of Don’t Dress For Dinner, all for Ian Dickens. Other roles of note include; Maxine in Stepping Out, Hilda Bigley in Business Affairs, Linda in Wife Begins at Forty, Glenda Parry in The Tart and the Vicar’s Wife, Mina in Dracula, Vera in Dr in the House, Sally in Bedside Manners, Gillian in Audacity, Donna and Dawn in Double Vision and Yvette in the stage version of Allo Allo to name but a few.

Most recently, Vicki has completed a major UK tour as Sarah in The Naked Truth alongside daughter Louise Michelle, which saw her perform at the beautiful Kings Theatre Portsmouth, earlier this year and a hugely successful run at The Park Theatre, London as Lynnie/Marilyn Monroe in Hello Norma Jeane. She has also recently added Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest to her stage credits.

An accomplished musical performer, Vicki received much critical acclaim for her performances as the incorrigible Miss Hannigan in Annie, the hugely diverse roles of Lady Raeburn and night club singer Asphynxia in Salad Days, the leading role of Miss Mona in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and the no-nonsense pub landlady Vi Collins in Stop Dreamin’. In addition to these musical roles Vicki has recently completed her 27th year in pantomime. Relishing the opportunity to be evil, she starred as the delicious, vicious Malicious in Sleeping Beauty.

Renowned for her charity work, Vicki was awarded the MBE by The Queen in 2010.
