A NEW exhibition at The Point showcases key moments from the venue's first 20 years.
Images from the performances of some of the most inspiring companies to have performed at the Eastleigh venue are now on display as part of year-long birthday celebrations.
Watch this Space is showing works from Russell Maliphant Company, photographed by Charlotte Macmillan, Gnosis by Akram Khan Company , shot by Laurent Ziegler – the choreographer opened the Creation Space in 2009 – and Hampshire Youth Dance Company, captured by coveted photographer Chris Nash.
The exhibition has transformed the recently refurbished Café bar and Atrium with 21 images that represent the bold work The Point plays host to each year.
The Watch this Space Gallery is free for everyone to enjoy, so pop in and have a look at some of the memorable moments from the past two decades that The Point has been championing original performance works.
The celebrations end with a gala evening that will welcome staff both past and present, along with an array of artists from the venue’s history.
