THE Spring in Havant has unveiled an Autumn season packed full of fantastic live events covering music, theatre, heritage, comedy, and even a special celebration of Havant’s link to Scalextric.

Music highlights include legendary singer-songwriter Dean Friedman, known for hits such as Lucky Stars and Ariel, and world renowned soul and blues singer Geno Washington with his Ram Jam Band. Ray Quinn, of X Factor and Dancing on Ice fame, is also heading to The Spring with his new album, as are The Lambrettas for a night of classic Northern soul, ska and mod music.

Kicking off the comedy for the season is Tiff Stevenson with her show Seven. Later, laughter master Stephen K Amos is checking into The Spring with new tour World Famous. Outside the venue, Lee Nelson is back at Park Community School with a fresh work in progress which is a unique opportunity to see Lee perform some brand new material.

Theatrical events include Labels from Worklight Theatre, Jess and Joe Forever, a coming of age tale originally commissioned by the Old Vic New Voices programme, and visual theatre company Idle Motion return with new show Shooting with Light. Fool’s Cap Theatre star on the brochure front cover, with their fantastical solo adaptation of Edgar Alan Poe’s novel The Unparalleled Adventure of One Hans Pfaall.
