'BEAUTIFUL Visions' - a photographic exhibition of work by Lynne Fochs continues at Christchurch Regent Centre until Friday July 8.

Surprisingly, self- taught photographer Lynn only picked up the camera for the first time two years ago after a spur of the moment trip to Bournemouth beach.

Lynne decided to combine the trip out with her daughter with a little bit of creativity. With the benefit of the perfect golden lighting from the sun setting on the beach, she took her first beautiful picture of a heart nestled between the stones.

Lynne liked the idea of conceptual pieces and experimented with more ideas, which resulted in some of her more ethereal pictures, such as the picture of angels taken in the sea at Southbourne and amongst the flowers at Hengistbury Head.

A walk around the Quay one windy wet day, resulted in a lovely picture of a very inquisitive little duck. Another walk to Mudeford Quay resulted in an interesting picture looking through some stacked up fishing nets.

New for this year’s Exhibition at the Regent will be some very large Panoramas of the local area including Mudeford Spit together with a number of pictures that Lynne has produced on canvas frames.

Lynne is a member of CADArts (Christchurch & District Arts Council) and has exhibited her pictures at the Hayloft Gallery in Wick Lane, Christchurch. She has also exhibited at the CADArts Christmas Fayre.

Open from 10am. Admission free.
