THE Point invites you to celebrate twenty years of the arts hub at a Birthday Picnic Party that features a beautiful memory room, pop-up performance, and plenty of tea and cake for all on Sunday.

Pack up a picnic and join staff and supporters as they turn Leigh Road Recreation Ground and The Point into a celebratory birthday party. Take a seat at one of 20 tables that will be adorned by individually designed tablecloths, created to echo a year in The Point’s history, and get involved in the venue’s grand Bake Off.

You are also invited to come along and see wonderful pop-up performance from local youth groups Hampshire Youth Dance Company, The Point Youth Theatre and Street to the Point alongside an exclusive dance piece from The Jiving Lindy Hoppers – a company who first performed at The Point in 1996.

Alongside an array of brilliant free performances and a whole load of sumptuous tea and cake, The Point is also inviting you to step into the past as you take a look inside the venue’s beautiful memory room, created specifically for this event. See archived photos from key moments in the creative hub’s history and share in the fun by writing down your own memories in a gorgeous book to include your own stories in the celebrations.

Expect plenty of bunting, summer fun, cake and dance as you join The Point to celebrate two wonderful decades as an arts venue in Eastleigh.
