HE'S the Razorlight drummer turned solo performer who co-wrote the score for a festive favourite.

Music from The Snowman and the Snowdog will feature in a one-off Andy Burrows gig featuring some seasonal highlights from his illustrious career so far.

Andy is returning to his Hampshire roots for the show, a one off winter Smoked & Uncut Christmas Show at The Pig in Brockenhurst on December 23.

The concert will also feature highlights from a Christmas album, which was produced with Tom Smith of Editors fame under the moniker Smith & Burrows. The festive Funny Looking Angels included covers of Yazoo's Only You and The Longpigs On and On, while Danish singer Agnes Obel featured on the classic track The Christmas Song, which was most famously sung by Nat King Cole.

Known as the nicest man in rock n roll, Andy grew up in Winchester and was with chart-topping Razorlight between 2004 and 2009.

He was written, recorded and released two solo albums under the pseudonym I Am Arrows and also performs with New York based indie rockers We Are Scientists.

He co-wrote the soundtrack to The Snowman and The Snowdog with Ilan Eshkeri, which was nominated for a BAFTA Craft Award in 2013.

Burrows has also worked with Delilah drumming and co-writing on some of her debut album.

He previously appeared at The Pig's September Smoked & Uncut Festival.

Limited tickets for the event, at 6.30pm, remain.
