JUST a few months ago Hampshire's Tom Mann was heading for the top of the charts with his boyband Stereo Kicks.

But after a whirlwind year of touring and TV fame through ITV talent show the X-Factor, the band has split after they failed to secure a record deal.

Their management financed their one single release,Love Me So, which was written by Tom who hails from Chandlers Ford which proved a success, hitting Number 3 on the midweek UK singles chart and No 1 for physical record sales.

Now Tom, 21, has launched a solo career and is busy writing, recording and doing a mini tour.

He is performing at The Joiners in Southampton this Thursday October 29 which looks likely to sell out fast!

Meanwhile this year's X Factor hopefuls will be keen to make the final and secure a place on the X Factor Live tour, playing major venues like the Bournemouth International Centre just like Tom and Stereo Kicks did.

The X Factor 2016 Live Tour is a country wide arena tour which will travel to the BIC on February 24 and 25. Contestants will be performing classic songs and viewers’ favourites from the TV series.

Attended by over three million people, The X Factor Live Tour has been one of the most successful annual arena tours in the UK for the past eleven years.
