BESTSELLING crime novelist Peter James is coming to The Berry Theatre in Hedge End on Thursday - the day his latest book is published.
The Crime Fiction Evening hosted by author Greg Mosse, celebrates crime and thriller writing on the South Coast.
For the first half of the evening, Peter will talk about his acclaimed career including the Brighton-based Detective Superintendent Roy Grace novels.
For the second half of the evening, he will be joined by regional crime and thriller authors as they talk about what inspires their characters and what makes the south such a vibrant setting for crime fiction.
The authors speaking are Fergus McNeill author of the D. I. Harland series; Lesley Thomson, winner of the People’s Book Prize 2010 and author of the Stella Darnell series, including The Detective's Daughter which won the Sainsbury's E-Book of the Year 2013; and J S Law author of the Lieutenant Danielle Lewis series.
Following his talk Peter will be signing copies of his latest book, the chilling supernatural tale The House on Cold Hill, a return to ghost story writing after nearly 20 years.
