A HOST of singing sensations will appear in a packed night of live music to help children with Cystic Fibrosis.

Vocal celebration Breathe In...Sing Out! brings Shirin’s own brand of glam-rock-power-pop, upbeat performances from Iain Scott (Open Mic UK winner 2015) and the UK’s leading pop and soul choir, Love Soul Choir, and a range of talented, unsigned, local solo artists to the stage at The Point on Saturday, October 10.

Mitch Lee, professional free running and parkour performer, coach and fitness model, will host the event.

Songstress Shirin brings glamorous power pop to the evening. Having already completed a residency at the Hard Rock Café in Macau and an extensive tour throughout Asia, she has performed to crowds of up to 40,000 people.

Southampton’s own Iain Scott was crowned winner of national singing competition Open Mic UK after his original song Moments won over the judges. He battled against more than 9,000 acts to scoop the top spot.

Love Soul Choir is the UK’s leading pop and soul choir, based in Southampton and Bournemouth. They received national acclaim for performances on Channel 5’s Don’t Stop Believing and the BBC’s Big Performance in the past.

Other performers are Rachael Oke, Steven Kerry, Jenni Monday and Charles Michael Duke.

Organisers Caden’s Fight are a group of community fundraisers working with Southampton Hospital Charity and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

The brainchild of Matt Bond and Lucy Hayward-John from Southampton, Caden’s Fight was set up after Matt’s son was born with the genetic disease aged just five days.

Singing can be great physiotherapy for people with Cystic Fibrosis and Caden’s Fight decided to make a change through music.

Tickets for their flagship event are available from thepointeastleigh.co.uk or by calling 023 8065 2333.
