HUNDREDS of people enjoyed a family festival in Hampshire.
People from across the county flocked to the second Crawley Festival, which has been organised to raise money for Naomi House and fundraising projects in the village north of Winchester.
The event on Saturday saw more than 500 people gather at Crawley Village Recreational Ground, where they listened to nine bands and enjoyed a variety of activities.
The event saw children enjoy an obstacle course, gladiator jousting and even sumo suit wrestling, while adults got the chance to go Zorbing.
There was also a variety of arts and crafts on display.
One of the organisers, Joy Baker from Crawley, said the event was a huge success.
Mrs Baker said: “It was an extremely successful event; fun was had by people of all ages.
“There was music all afternoon and everyone was dancing.
“We had a DJ between the music sets and there was a real electric atmosphere – it was just fantastic.”
There are plans to make next year’s event run over two days, Mrs Baker added: “We will make the event bigger next year, with it possibly running over two days.”
