TASTES from around the world are set for Winchester as a food festival brings a party to town this weekend.
The Cheese and Chilli Festival was trialled in Dorset last year and after a survey organisers decided to also host it in Winchester.
It will see music, food and children’s activities at North Walls Recreation Ground, as well as a weekend-long beer festival from Ringwood Brewery.
Activities include: chilli tasting, chillieating competition, cheese tasting, wine masterclasses, talks, cocktail classes, craft village, rides, music, magic shows, and plenty of stalls.
On Saturday electronic fusion band Zenith Nadir will grace the mainstage from 10.30am followed by blue-grass soloist Big Joe Bone on Sunday.
