REVELLERS are to attempt a world record at Bestival this year.
Organisers have challenged the crowd to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Number of Buskers in One Place during the September shindig.
Rob da Bank said: “We do love breaking records at Bestival, but this one isn’t all about a world record. It’s about a huge Summer of Love sing-along.
“Our mates CoCo and The Butterfields suggested it would be a cool idea to do a little jam session and bring busking to Bestival, but with your help this could turn into the biggest busk ever!
"So dust off your tambourine, polish your triangle and pack your banjo for September”.
Bestival already holds the record for the Largest Discoball, set at the Desert Island Disco themed bash in 2014.
Featuring sets from Underworld, Duran Duran and The Chemical Brothers, Bestival takes place at Robin Hill Country Park on the Isle of Wight from September 10 to 13.
