EASTLEIGH Unwrapped has brought the town together for the past two years.

In 2014 there were seven hours of extraordinary performances including crowds watching on as a giant acrobatic wheel rolled down the High Street and performers suspended themselves above the audience.

Events included aerial theatre, circus, explosive dance and live music. Alongside this, residents could help build a flying machine, climb inside an enormous whale and listen to a range of talented buskers.

Venues throughout the town opened their doors to host activities. Headlining the event was performance group Square Peg, which combined music and dance to tell their interpretation of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s epic poem The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.

Other acts include Afro Brazilian samba band Batala Portsmouth, hula hoop artist Chloe Lloyd, a circus juggling act and a French solo dancer.
