CHERITON Players take to the great outdoors for their next production!

Third Week in August by Peter Gordon will be performed in the grounds of the Flower Pots Inn at Cheriton. The audience will be seated (so no need to bring those fold-up chairs) under cover in a marquee whilst the actors will brave the June elements.

When Sue decides to try a ‘get away from everybody’ caravan holiday, little does she realise that she’s booked into the caravan site from hell. She is soon taken under the wing of expert but inadequate caravaner, Neville … that’s when he’s not engaged in battle with his wife or trying to cope with his difficult sister-in-law, Liz.

Matters become complicated with the arrival of the enthusiastic Tony and his complaining girlfriend, Jenny.

And when Neville decides that a communal barbecue is the order of the day, things really start to hot up!

There is plenty of parking in the top field behind the pub and gates, bar and barbecue all open at 6.30pm to give everyone plenty of time to eat and drink before ‘curtain up’ at 7.45pm.
