BRITISH music legends Wet Wet Wet will be bringing their greatest hits to America’s Cup World Series Portsmouth Live!

The Love is all Around singers will join a stunning line-up on July 25, which includes Spandau Ballet, McBusted and Carly Rae Jepsen.

Since Glasgow school friends Marti Pellow, Tommy Cunningham, Graeme Clark and Neil Mitchell formed Wet Wet Wet in the 80s the group has sold over 15 million singles and albums. The Scottish band smashed records when Love is All Around held the No. 1 spot for an incredible 15 weeks in 1994.

The quartet produced hit after hit in the early 1990s, before the international success of Love is All Around – also the soundtrack to the international film hit ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ – and the No.1 album Picture This.

Wet Wet Wet recently announced a 17-date arena tour in 2016. The Portsmouth Live! concert programme on Saturday, July 25 will be the first chance to see theworld-famous group perform their greatest hits.

Frontman Marti Pellow said: “We are delighted to accept the invitation to perform as part of Portsmouth Live! during the America’s Cup World Series, Portsmouth.

"We’re from Clydebank in Scotland, an area also steeped in maritime history, so we didn’t need asking twice to pay the city a visit.

"It’ll give our fans in the south a taster of what’s in store when we return during our Big Picture Tour in 2016.”

Also performing for the final evening of Portsmouth Live! are superstars Spandau Ballet who will be adding to the nostalgia with their new romantic smash hits.

They will be joined by boy band supergroup McBusted (featuring performers from McFly and Busted) and No.1 singer-songwriter, Carly Rae Jepsen, who’ll be performing her international hit Call me Maybe.
