HEADLINE acts for this year’s Isle of Wight Festival have scored more UK number ones than any other 2015 UK major festival line-up.

Blur, Fleetwood Mac and The Prodigy, pictured, can boast a total of 16 chart-topping albums.

Blur and The Prodigy have enjoyed number one albums with new studio releases this year; The Prodigy with The Day Is My Enemy and Blur with The Magic Whip.

In total Blur have topped the album charts six times while The Prodigy have achieved that also achieved that accolade.

Fleetwood Mac who are rumoured to have turned down Glastonbury, have had four UK number one albums in their incredible career.

The US music giants will close this year’s festival with a performance on the main stage on Sunday, June 14.

The Prodigy share top billing with The Black Keys on Friday, June 12 while Blur will headline on Saturday, June 13.

Since re-launching in 2002, the Isle of Wight Festival has established itself as one of the highlights of the summer constantly delivering the biggest and best names in music such as Foo Fighters, Muse, Stone Roses, Coldplay and Jay-Z.

This year’s Isle of Wight Festival runs from June 11-14.
