IT is one of the biggest dance events Hampshire has ever seen and the Daily Echo has five pairs of VIP tickets to give away.

Southampton Soundclash is one of this year’s most anticipated music festivals and will take place in Stoneham Lane, Eastleigh, on May 2.

Thousands of tickets have already been sold and just 500 remain.

The festival will see the cream of the crop unite for a day of cross-genre dance, with chart-busting Gorgon City headlining the main Black Butter Records stage.

There will also be headline sets from Green Velvet, Friction, and Bryan Kearney.

There will also be performances from Hannah Wants, Shadow Child, My Nu Leng, DJ Hype, Foor, and Judge Jules.

It boasts a VIP area, a full Funktion 1 Sound System throughout, a funfair, and after parties in Southampton and Bournemouth until 6am.

Organiser Ryan Keary said: “It’s the biggest day event that Southampton has ever had.

“It’s going to be a completely musically motivated day party that brings different genres of music and people together.

“It’s an opportunity for people to open their minds to new music across four different tents.

“Everything on offer will be local – we are working with local traders and markets.”

Co-organiser James Hilling, who operates Wash Up Warm Up (WuWu) for First Steps Recordings, said: “Soundclash will be absolutely smashing this year.

“The whole team has worked wirelessly to make it a success, encompassing community projects within their success and set up.”

Tickets are priced at £30 and are available from http://tinyurl.com/Soundclash-Festival.
